Edgar was born Janurary 19th,1809 in Boston.
In 1810 Edgar's parents seperate, Mrs. Poe takes the children.
One year later Edgar's mom dies and Mr. and Mrs. John Allan adopt Edgar.
Edgar does some schooling in England, returns to the states and attends the University Of Virginia.
Poes can't support himself, so he joins the US Army.
Mrs. Allan dies and Edgar returns home.
Poe applies to West Point and John Allan sponsers him.
Poes gets kicked out of West Point and Mr.Allan dies soon after.
Poe wins a contest and gets a job.
Poe marries his 13 year old cousin Virginia.
Edgar writes his first volume of short stories, along with some poems.
In 1845, Poe writes "The Raven".
Poe's wife dies from Tuberculosis on January 30th, 1847.
Poe writes some poems, and joins "Sons of Temperance" in effort to stop drinking.
On Sept. 30th, 1849 Poe gets on the wrong train and heads for Baltimore.
On Oct. 3rd, Poe is found half-conscious and is taken to a hospital and dies four days later for unknown resons.
